Since our grand reopening in 2013, we have been keeping an eye out for a Coal Car to place at Coal Creek Golf Course to honor Louisville’s history, pay homage to the course’s namesake, solidify on-going branding and marketing efforts and to add interest to both the golfing and non-golfing community. This “senior citizen” is a Colorado native born in Denver is over 100 years old and spent its younger days working in the coal mines. It is being resurrected from its retirement to be a symbol of Coal Creek Golf Course. It was transported here to Coal Creek last week and we are working to find it a permanent home on the golf course this spring.
