Louisville, Colorado – Coal Creek Golf Course is excited to announce Toptracer Range will be available at its driving range in Spring 2023. Coal Creek will be Colorado's first public golf course to utilize this innovative, ball-tracking technology to create a fun, engaging, and data-driven driving range experience for players of all ages and playing levels.
Toptracer is the same cutting-edge technology used at Topgolf entertainment venues and seen on television during professional golf tournaments. Toptracer Range now makes this technology accessible to golf courses enabling them to reinvent the driving range experience by transforming their practice area into a place where golfers can play fun and skill-based games, compete against friends, see their shot trace, and receive instant shot data in the palm of their hands.
Using special cameras to track golf balls in flight, Toptracer tells golfers everything they would ever want to know (or not know) about their shot, including total distance, carry distance, ball speed, and launch angle. The system has different modes so guests of all ages and handicaps can play iconic courses, have a longest drive competition, nearest to the pin challenge, track what's in your bag to show distances with each club, climb the global leaderboard, and more. Shots are recorded so that golfers can make swing adjustments and immediately see the impact on their golf shots.
To use Toptracer, Golfers must download the Toptracer Range mobile app (iOS and Android). The app will allow golfers to access the software with a QR code they receive after they register in the golf shop for the daily session, and receive instant data on their smartphone or tablet. The app then stores all that data so you can track progress and measure improvement.
The addition of the Toptracer Range is part of the ongoing improvements to Coal Creek Golf Course and supports the course's vision of providing a fun, memorable experience that will keep you coming back.
"We're excited to add this valuable tool to enhance the experience for every golfer at Coal Creek. It not only offers immediate, accurate feedback but also makes practice fun as we all work to improve our golf game," said David Baril, PGA Head Golf Professional at Coal Creek Golf Course. "I also can't wait to use the software myself."
Toptracer Range will be available seven days a week at the Coal Creek Golf Course driving range starting this spring.
